Hi to All for a
Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year:

Florida Retirement Home
Our first Christmas Greeting as
“Florida Residents”. Yes, our Killdeer
house in Oshkosh sold, and we have moved into our new Florida home. So the months of January – March were very
busy with the move and refurnishing our new home “Florida Style”. Future plans include six months in Florida and
six months up north in our motor home.
Wisconsin RV Site Door County
However, shortly into March, we
received word that our daughter Amy was admitted to ICU in Neenah, Wi. We quickly cancelled a planned trip to Mexico
with Bob’s cousin Bill Walton in Puerto Vallarta, and flew back to Wisconsin to
be with Amy. Unfortunately, her
situation was terminal and she passed away on March 14. This was combined with news that Shari’s
cousins son, David Sholes, passed unexpectedly as well. A very sad time for us, and our family
members. Thank you for all the prayer’s
and support, we sincerely needed them.
Back to The Villages in April,
continuing to get settled. May we headed
back to Wisconsin to our motor home, escaping the Florida heat, spending June
in Waupaca and July and August in Door County.
September / October we toured around Lake Superior in our motor
home. It was beautiful and well worth
the time.
Garage-able Boat
We returned to The Villages at the
end of October. We had Great visits by
family and friends. We love the “ Life
Style” here and have absolutely no regrets about our decision. We have added a small ‘garage able” power
boat to take advantage of the numerous boating waters here in Florida. Plan on trailering north to take advantage of
the Wi waters as well. We truly enjoy!
The Holidays here are packed with
entertainment and events. Enjoyed a
recent Christmas Program and parade in The Villages Polo Grounds. A wonderful visit with daughter Lisa
visiting over the Thanksgiving holiday, and plans for spending Christmas with
her in Palm Beach Gardens. Daily
entertainment and golf here keeps us
busy.
Hope you have a Blessed Christmas
and Happy New Year!
