Had a great summer stay in Wisconsin, leaving for Florida Sep 28 and arriving at our home on Oct 1, earliest yet for us Florida "snowbirds".  Unloaded the motor home and decided to put it up for sale.  Contracted with Alliance Coach and sold in one day.  Wow!  Then parked the Honda tow car there for sale and sold it in the same week.  Sometimes things just happen.  Anyway, we had 11 wonderful years of RV'g and enjoyed the lifestyle very much.  No regrets and looking forward to a new way of travel.  We  did need to make a brief trip back to Wi to get our boat and Caravan as could not bring with motor home, so back up 10/23 and returned 10/30.

Not long after being here with a boat, two cars, and a golf cart, room was a little tight, so we added a golf car garage.  See before and after pic's.  Turned our good!

End of January, Shari's cousin, Tom & Char Sholes visited us for a brief stay.  They really enjoyed The Villages, as do all guests.  Enjoyed time with them and did lots of "show & tells".  During their stay, we were unfortunately in the middle of adding a patio to the rear of our house to take advantage of a spectacular view and provide for evening camp fires.

February we had the pleasure of visiting Bob's cousin, Bill & Brenda Walton in Puerto Valarta Mexico.
They have a beautiful condo on a hillside setting overlooking a gorgeous bay. Spent a week there and enjoyed very much as they were marvelous hosts.

End of February we decided to re-floor our house from carpet to laminate.  Turned out great!

March, brother Bill & wife Kay stopped for a brief visit.  It was great to spend time with them, but wish it could have been longer.

End of March we booked a time share in Sebastian, Fl for a week.  Just a little get a way,  Friends Bill & Judy Hesser joined us for a few days.  Weather was not the best, but we had fun and made do.

End of April, sister Kathy and husband John visited us for a week.  Great to see them and we had lots of fun too!  So much so that they bought a home here.  Wow!  Brand new and lovely.  Probably moving in July.  It will be great to have relatives here.

Our lifestyle in The Villages continues to meet all  of our expectations.  Great friends and lots of activities.

However, we still like to trek north for WI summers, so in that regard we rented a cottage on Sand Pit Lane on Lake Butte des Morts, Oshkosh.  Be there 6/1 - 10/31.
